Avallone Promotes Ahmad Nazir Raja to Chief Technology Officer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Copenhagen, Denmark - December 2025 - Avallone, a Copenhagen-based leader in enterprise KYC (Know Your Customer) software and services, is pleased to announce the promotion of Ahmad Nazir Raja to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), effective December 1, 2025.
Ahmad joined Avallone in April 2021 as Lead Software Engineer, advancing in successive roles to Director of Engineering (September 2022 – December 2024) and then Vice President of Engineering (January 2025 – present). In less than five years with the company, he has overseen the engineering teams responsible for the development of Avallone's platform modules including KYC Collector, KYC Responder and KYC Hub.
Prior to joining Avallone, Ahmad held software engineering roles at Microsoft and Penneo in the Copenhagen area, and earlier served in engineering and architecture positions at Secunia and Telenor. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) (2003–2007) and an MS in Security and Mobile Computing from Technical University of Denmark/KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2008–2010).
“We are delighted to promote Ahmad into the CTO role,” said Anders Meinert Jørgensen, CEO and Co-Founder of Avallone. “Ahmad has been instrumental in scaling our engineering functions, amplifying product velocity, and strengthening our technology foundation. As we continue to innovate and deepen our impact across the global KYC market, his leadership will be crucial in driving our continued rapid growth.”
In his new role as CTO, Ahmad will lead Avallone’s overall technology strategy and architecture, align engineering with product and market objectives, and drive the delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant KYC technology for multinational corporations and funds.
“This role means a lot to me because of the people I work with every day, and the mission we share,” said Ahmad Nazir Raja. “We have a thoughtful, product-minded engineering team, and I want to help us build solutions that make KYC a breeze for our customers. My focus is simple: show up consistently, create clarity, invest in the things that compound, and create an environment where the team can do the best work of their careers. If we get that right, the rest will follow."
